
Nigerians have taken to the street for what is now the third week of nationwide protest against police brutality that has been driven with the hashtag #ENDSARS.

Protest started across the country following a viral video footage showing a team of the now disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives in Delta State shooting a man and droving away in his SUV.
The protest has been largely driven by young people who bear the brunt of the of the brutality by the SARS operatives.

The hashtag #ENDSARS trended worldwide on social media for days with celebrities across the world of sport and entertainment getting in in the act.
Celebrities like Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil and multiple Grammy winning rapper, Kanye West have joined in the recent protest, calling for an end to SARS.
Nigerians in Nigerian and Nigerians all over the world has taken to the street to march in pursuit of the call to end police brutality, a trend that is usually for a nation divided across ethnic and religious line.
