After several denials, popular singer, D’banj, has revealed he is married but hinted why he hid his marital status from the public and fans until recently. D’banj reveals why he had a secret marriage with Didi Kilgrow.
The ‘Koko Master’ was a guest at BEAT FM 99.9 recently during which he disclosed that his marital status had been a talking point for years in the media and he decided to keep everything under wraps until the marriage with girlfriend, Lineo Didi Kilgrow was consummated.

Although the ‘Fall in Love’ crooner did not tell when the white wedding will hold, he disclosed that it will be held when they are both ready for it.
According to the father of one, the pressure to get married was much even from his parents. He however thanked God every thing worked according to plans.
D’banj said, “I decided to keep my marriage to Didi a secret because based on experience relationships like this get mixed with media hypes and speculations and then it becomes complicated.
“I want to thank my close friends, parent and families for keeping this secret. You know the pressure to get married was this high and mum told me she wants to see the girl I am dating and would want to marry.
I told her that there was this babe and we didn’t want to marry yet but she insisted that I’d she was the one for me that we should have a small ceremony and the rest is history and I’m glad I listened to her.
The ‘Oliver Twist’ crooner singer has been super secretive about his marital affairs and seems determined to keep it that way. In July 2, 2016, news made the rounds that D’banj got married to his then University of Abuja undergraduate in a secret wedding attended by family members and just few friends in Abuja and Lagos. He had debunked the reports, saying his marriage will be a quiet one and nobody would be aware of it.
More controversies stirred up when his 27-year-old wife, Kilgrow put to birth a baby boy in the United States. Meanwhile, D’banj’s representative, Franklin said that the information was just a rumour. “That information is not correct at all,” Franklin said. I guess it was all a bid to keep things secret or in a low key.
Things seem to be going well for the singer who recently revealed his company, Cream Platform, which he floated in July 2016 is now valued at over $100million dollars which is over 35 billion naira with the current exchange rate. The ‘Kokomaster’ may have just become the richest artist in Africa.
