Pop star, Davido, is currently making the news headlines after he was reported to have said his father would but off the whole of Igbo land. Several reports made the rounds from folks a few hours ago where it was alleged in a tweet that Davido said his Billionaire father will buy off the whole Igbo land. Davido denies saying his billionaire dad will buy off the whole of Igbo land.
The purported tweet reads: “My father will just buy off the whole Igbo land. And their stupid biafra will stop.”

But shortly after Aba City Blog notified Davido of the trending story on the heels of Biafra agitation, the HKN gang Boss who is currently in Canada on his ‘30 Billion World Tour’ debunked the report. Davido said the above statement is something that can never come out of his mouth.

The singer tweeted;
“Would never ever make such statement .. tell them to try again..”
Meanwhile, the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu had issued a stern warning to anyone who insists that Biafra will not be achieved. He said such a person will die. According to the IPOB leader, his resolve towards the struggle for the actualisation of Biafra Republic is final and there is no going back. He also declared that there will be no more election in the South-East region starting with Anambra State until a date for referendum was announced by the Nigerian government.
