Popular singer, Tekno seems to have fully recovered from his ailment which saw him fly out of Nigeria to America for medical check-up. The singer had been down with acid reflux, a chronic disease that occurs when stomach acid or bile flows into the food pipe and irritates the lining. Although he was at AY Live Show in April, he literally was battling with his health. If my girlfriend can cook good egusi, ogbono soup, my ‘cassava’ is hers for life – Tekno.
Fans of rave of the moment artiste were thrown into apprehension when Tenko posted his health status on his Instagram page. Tekno also noted that he had to cancel his shows due to health reasons, but managed to attend AY Live on Easter Sunday.
His manager, Triple MG boss, Ubi Franklin had confirmed his ailment, assuring some fans who expressed concerns that he probably may be nursing a life threatening ailment, that the singer would be back on his feet in two weeks. According to him, Tekno literally used all the strength he had to perform on the AY Live Show.
True to Franklin’s words, Tekno is back and bouncing. His recent video on Youtube shows he is as fit as fiddle. In a video clip he posted, he was seen munching Nigerian Egusi and Ogbono soup mixed together.

While eating, he said: “My people, my people, my beloved. I’m in Germany and I am eating this Nigerian food, precisely egusi and ogbono together. O boi the thing sweet die, I no go lie. If you are my girlfriend and you could cook like this, I will give you cassave to an extent where cassava will start growing on your head. You will be happy and you will receive it and it will be for you only and I won’t share it. This food? If you hear me chop and sniff, just know the food is sweet,”…he continues in Igbo language.
Continuing, he said “It’s been a while since I wanted something like this. Ladies, please learn how to cook for this boy, Tekno.”
