Samsung shipped more smartphones in the Q1 of 2021 as the tech giant recovered its position from Apple after 3 months.
According to a report by counterpoint, a total of 354 million units of smartphones were sold in 2021 Q1.
Samsung sold between 76.1 million units, thanks to the release of its S21 Series.
Apple shipped the second most phones, 56.4 million, thanks to a huge demand for the iPhone 12 series.
Xiaomi came in third on the global phones sale ranking, although the company sold 78.3% more devices.
49.5 million units were sold, with its major markets being China, India, and Spain.
Vivo was forth, as the company shipped 34.5 million mobile devices, thanks to major sales in China.

Oppo completed the top 5 list as the company’s sales went up 85.3% from the Q1 of 2020.
A total of 37.8 million mobile phones were sold, due to their huge presence in China and Europe.
