The popular DJ who is reportedly in asylum in Canada has been in the forefront of the fight for justice of protesters killed at Lekki tollgate
According to her, many moves are happening behind the scene to ensure change comes to Nigeria
Nigerian female disk jockey, DJ Switch who has been spearheading the struggle from the international front to bring justice to those murdered by Nigerian army operatives at the Lekki tollgate during the #ENDSARS protest is scheduled to speak at the 19th Assembly of States Parties of the International Criminal Court.
DJ Switch whose real name is Obianuju Udeh disclosed the development through her official Instagram account @djswitch_
She went further to empathise with Nigerians with regards to the economic circumstances of the country, saying that she understands the hardship many are forced to face in the nation.
DJ Switch however stressed that despite the obvious realities, she promised that this generation would keep the fight alive and that even though many are not aware, there are moves behind the scene to bring change to the country.
In the height of the #ENDSARS protest where many were killed after soldiers shot Iive bullets at protesters demonstrating at the Lekki tollgate, DJ switch fled the country given how she was active in disseminating live feeds during the shooting on the 20th of October.
Meanwhile, we reported earlier that the Nigerian government has directed all telecommunication operators to deregister all SIM cards that are not synchronized with the National Identity Number (NIN) by December 30th 2020.
