Crate Challenge: 2 People Die While Filming Dangerous Challenge

• 2 people were shot dead at the Shreveport, Louisiana in a drive-by shooting on August 22

• The incident happened while a group of men were filming viral TikTok challenge called “The crate challenge”

• It is unknown who fired the gunshot or if it was aimed at the group filming but 2 people were found dead in the location and another woman nearby.

Three people have been killed in a drive-by shooting while a group of youth were trying out the viral “crate challenge”.

The crate challenge which has over 15 million views in TikTok is a dangerous new challenge where people try to climb crates stacked in a pyramid.

The shooting happened outside the Linwood Public Charter School and it was shared ok social media by a Twitter user.

In the video, a person is attempting the crate challenge while three others watch on and film.

Seconds after gunshots are fired forcing everyone to disperse and hide for safety to avoid being hit.

Reports have suggested that the shooting was aimed at two cars parked nearby and two people have been confirmed dead.

One of the deceased is a 19-year-old woman Paris King who was shot dead while sitting at the back of a car.

In a separate incident, police found another woman dead in the back seat of a car after being shot at East 70th Street at Gilbert Drive.

Police have reported that the two crime scenes are related and the crime scenes have since been closed for investigation.
