First City Monument Bank has appointed Mrs Yemisi Edun as the new acting Managing Director for the Bank.
Mrs Edun, an executive director on the board of the bank became the MD following Adama Nuru decision to embark on a voluntary leave in the light of a paternity saga
The acting MD holds a master degree from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom as well as other enviable certifications.
Mrs Yemisi Edun has just been appointed as the acting Managing Director of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) after being an executive director on the bank’s board.
Mrs Edun came onboard following the stepping down of Mr Adamu Nuru who is in the middle of a paternity scandal as well as murder.
Mr Adamu’s unethical behaviour compelled d him to embark on a voluntary leave to allow investigation into the issue.
The former MD was accused of having a illicit romantic with Mrs Moyo Thomas, a former employee of the FCMB who was also married. The romance eventually produced two kids
Yemisi Edun studied Chemistry at the Obafemi Awolowo University as well as a Masters in International Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool, UK.
