President Muhammadu Buhari was absent at the funeral ceremony of the late Chief of Army Staff Ibrahim Attahiru on Sunday and in case you were wondering why Garba Shehu has given us some answers.

The media aide to the president has stated that one of the possible reasons that the president missed the funeral is to avoid causing traffic.

Mr Shehu revealed that he hasn’t spoken to the president but he believes that there is a valid reason for his absence.

The spokesman claims that the president puts the well-being of other Nigerians first and he was probably trying to help them by preventing traffic.

The president is somebody who is so concerned about the safety and wellbeing of ordinary Nigerians on the streets,”
