The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo has disclosed that microblogging platform Twitter has agreed to all the conditions set by the government to ensure the removal of the ban.
This comes after a negotiation between Twitter and the Nigerian government after the suspension of the social media platform.
Keyamo divulged this information while speaking at Channels TV on the Sunday Politics programme.
The Minister who is a part of the committee, set up to review the operations of Twitter stated that significant progress gave been made in negotiations.
Keyamo also claimed that the Twitter ban was not aimed at driving the social media company out of the country, but rather restate the terms of the relationship between both parties.

He also added that Twitter executives reached out to the government to discuss a resolution.
It will be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari directed that the suspension of Twitter be lifted once all conditions are met.
