You know those annoying moments when you’re scrolling through your timeline on Twitter and the page automatically refreshes? Well, that won’t happen again.
Twitter has introduced an update to its iOS app that stops the auto-refresh of timeline.
The social media company announced the update on Wednesday, November 24, saying:
“Now when you pause your timeline scrolling to look at a Tweet, it should stay put!” the company tweeted.
The update for iOS devices comes a week after similar changes were made to the web version of the microblogging platform.
The company had disclosed that it was working on an update in September, via its Twitter Support handle
“We know it’s a frustrating experience, so we’re working on changing it,” the company”
This change comes during a busy year for the tech company where various products and new updates have been launched.
The most recent is Twitter Blue, a paid version of the app that gives you access to edit tweets and other exclusive services.
