“BULLSHIT!!!” American Rapper Trey Song Reacts to Decision to Redeploy SARS Operatives

American singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor Trey Song has voiced his concern over the police decision to redeploy SARS after the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu announced the immediate disbandment of the police unit.

After reposting an article from Apple News title “Nigeria dissolves controversial police unit accused of brutality” with a folded hands and raised fist emoji that showed solidarity and victory, Trey Song few hours later tweet about his concern on how the Nigerian police leadership intends to reform the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

“Reading this article looks as though they just gon re employ these same officers in different positions. BULLSHIT!!!” He tweeted.

Aside Trey Song, many international figures across many industry have shown solidarity and support for the campaign to #ENDSARS. Football stars like Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil and former England international striker Ian Wright backed the campaign.

We also reported that the IGP Mohammed Adamu announced the dissolution of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad and redeployment of SARS operatives nationwide in a live broadcast yesterday.

The IGP further stated that all Officers and men currently serving in the unit are to be redeployed within immediate effect and that new policing arrangement to address the offences of armed robbery and other violent crime that falls within the mandates of the Special Anti-Robbery squad shall be presented in due course.
