Times Higher Education World University Ranking released on Wednesday has shown that 4 Nigerian Universities are among the top 1000 in the world.
Times ranked the University of Ibadan, LASU, UNILAG as the top 3 varsities in the country.
UI was ranked between 401 and 500 in the world, which makes it the highest-ranked in Nigeria.
Following UI was LASU which ranked between 501 and 600 in the world.
UNILAG was not left behind as the recognized varsity was listed between 601 and 800 worldwide.
Private Institution, Covenant University followed the government-owned schools as it ranks in 4th place.
