Nigerian Air force Announces The Names Of Officers That Died In The Aircraft Crash
-The Nigerian Air force has announced the names of the deceased from the Beechcraft Kingair B350i Aircraft crash on Sunday
-The military plane was returning to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja after an engine failure on its way to Abuja
-7 People were aboard the aircraft which had no survivors, as it caught fire on impact
The Nigerian Airforce released a list of the deceased from the Beechcraft Kingair B350i Aircraft crash on Sunday.
The military plane was reportedly on its way to Minna when an engine failure occurred and it had to return to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
The plane was scheduled to conduct surveillance missions over Niger State and its environs in connection with the abducted students by Bandits from Government Science College Kagara, Niger State.
In a statement released by the Nigerian Air Force Headquarter, it was recorded that there were 7 officers on board the plane.
The names of the deceased are:
(Captain) Flight Lieutenant Haruna Gadzama
(Co-pilot) Flight Lieutenant Henry Piyo
(Airborne Tactical Observation System specialist) Officer Micheal Okpara
(ATOS Specialist) Warrant Officer Bassey Etim
(ATOS Specialist) Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi
(ATOS Specialist) Sergeant Ugochukwu Oluka
(Onboard Technician) Aircraftman Adewale Johnson

The Chief of Air Staff, Vice Marshall Oladayo Amao visited the scene of the accident. He commiserated with the family of the deceased on behalf of the Air Force.
