Boxing day hasn’t gotten off to the best start after one of Abuja’s biggest malls “Next Cash and Carry” went up in flames this morning.
Naija FM has gathered videos that show smoke coming from the building as many watched in disbelief.
According to one of the passers by around, the fire had been up even before 10:50 am.
At the time of this report, the extent of the damage and the cause of the fire remains unknown.

This incident comes only a few months after another top supermarket Ebeano went up in flames.
On that occasion, the fire was caused by a little girl who lit up some of the mall’s items.
