Kagara Abduction: We’ll Starve Schoolboys To Death- Bandits

The bandits responsible for the Kagara abduction in Niger state have threatened to starve the schoolboys to death if the ransom is not paid on time.
An audio recording in which one of the abductors was conversing with a negotiator was acquired by Sheik Gumi.
The bandit was heard saying that he doesn’t have food for the school children and they are hungry. He also added that he will direct officials to the corpse if any of the students die.

The bandits also demanded the phone number of the parents of the students, which the negotiator stated would be difficult to get.
The bandit also said that he is aware that security patrols have been stationed around Kagara but he warned that the children will not be found.
The Kagara abductors have rejected 2.7 million naira ransom which was contributed by the parents of the children.
They have also promised to unleash more terror throughout the state if payment is not released soon.
Atleast 27 students were kidnapped when armed men raided Government College, Kagara in Niger State on Wednesday, February 17.
