-At least 10 people have been confirmed dead after an attack by the terrorist group, Boko Haram in Borno
-The attack which happened in the state capital, Maiduguri all left more than 60 people injured
-Nine of the deceased were reportedly young boys who were playing football at Gwange ward
A minimum of 10 people have been reported dead and 60 more injured after an attack in Borno by the terrorist group, Boko Haram.
The attack happened on Tuesday evening and it has been confirmed by the governor of the state, Babagana Zulum.
Reports from Premium Times gotten from a military source yesterday claimed that the terrorists had launched bombs into crowded areas of the city.

Zulum visited the hospital where the injured were receiving treatment to monitor their wellbeing.

Reports show that 9 out of the 10 deceased from this incident were young boys who were playing football.
Zulum sympathized with the family of the deceased and declared a need for the state to strategize to prevent similar occurrences.
The Borno state governor also promised the injured that care will be provided to them while they recover.
The military has been able to stabilize things in the attack area and major roads are being monitored.
Since the genesis of Boko Haram in Nigeria in 2009, more than 36,000 people have been killed and over 2 million displaced.
