The Nasarawa state All progressive Congress chairman, Philip Shekwo who was abducted by gunmen from his residence in Bukan – Sidi, Lafia local government area around 11 p.m yesterday has been found dead.
The commissioner of police in Nasarawa State, Mr Bola Longe confirmed the death of the chairman at his residence on Sunday. It was reported that the deceased’s body was found in an area around his residence.

Longe explained that the corpse have been moved to Dalhatu Araf Special Hospital and that no suspect has been arrested yet concerning the murder.
However, the commissioner of police assured that the police were working on it already.
