Governor Wike Threatens To End Nigeria If Ortom Is Killed
-Governor Wike has warned Nigerians to be prepared to bury the country if Governor Ortom dies
-Governor Ortom of Benue state had his convoy attacked by Gunmen in Benue on Saturday
-Wike also described the threat on incumbent governors’ lives as “disturbing”
The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has threatened that Nigeria will cease to exist if Governor Ortom of Benue state is killed.
Governor Wike made this statement after Ortom’s convoy was attacked by Gunmen on Saturday.
Governor Samuel Ortom had his convoy attacked on Tyo Mu along Makurdi-Gboko road by who the governor referred to as “Herdsmen”.
Ortom claims that he and his security detail were trailed by 15 Gunmen who opened fire on them while he was inspecting a farm in that area.
After the incident, Wike released a statement claiming that the Federal Government will be held responsible and Nigeria will cease to exist if anything happens to the Benue state governor.
Wike also recounted how there was an assassination attempt on his life during the 2019 elections by Nigerian General Commanding Officer, Jamil Sarham.
The Rivers state governor didn’t explain if his “breaking up” statement meant a civil war or a peaceful separation of the country.

Wike is not the first person to make claims about a Nigerian separation in the past week. Yoruba Activist, Sunday Igboho also pushed for the breakaway of fhs tribe from other parts of Nigeria.
