Ahmad Lawan, Nigeria’s Senate president has made a revelation about banditry and terrorism in Nigeria.
While speaking yesterday in Abuja, Lawan claimed that any nefarious acts like terrorism and banditry are sponsored by drug barons in Nigeria.
The Senate President made this statement when he was paid a visit by Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brigadier-General Buba Marwa, retd.
According to Lawan, this explains where terrorists get the money to undertake criminal activities in the country.

Lawan called on the government to restructure the NDLEA so that the organization is capable of handling the criminal activities of drug dealers in the country.
The Senate President added that the anti-drug organization will be supported by National Assembly to amend NDLEA Acts that will allow the agency to achieve its goals.
