12 Dead in Fresh Attack by Bandits in Kaduna

12 people have been killed by bandits after a fresh attack on a Fulani settlement in Kaduna state
According to a report from The Guardian, bandits attacked a village in Giwa Council and shooting at the residents. They also set fire to many houses and property in the village.
Most residents have been forced to flee their homes after the attack that has seen them lose relatives and friends. The majority fled to a nearby village called Barkallahu in Igabi Council.
The commissioner for internal security and home affairs in Kaduna, Samuel Aruwan paid residents a condolence visit after the incident.

He urged the people of the village not to launch a counterattack and assured them that the government will handle the situation.
Bandits have been wreaking havoc in the state for life. There was a recent attack on the Gwari highway that saw a pregnant woman lose her life.
The Federal government recently sent 300 female soldiers to maintain order on the bridge and bring peace back to the community.
