
More Chibok Girls Return Home After Escaping
-Another group of abducted chibok girls are now free
-Some of the girls successfully escaped from captivity
-Many parents are coming to check, with the hope of meeting their daughters.
Many of the remaining chibok girls that were abducted by Boko Haram have escaped.
The girls that were taken from Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok local government area in Bornu fleed from their abductors yesterday.
They were able to do this after the Nigerian conducted a series of attacks on Boko Haram hideouts in the Sambisa forest.
Lawal Zannah, the secretary of the Chibok Parents Association confirmed this while speaking to the Daily Trust but he stated that he was not aware of the number of escapees.

Among the girls who escaped from captivity is Halima Ali. Halima was married off to one of the commanders of Boko Haram at the instructions of Abubakar Shekau.
Her parents have been contacted to come and receive her and they expressed joy at this news.
Government officials in Borno at yet to confirm the information. They claimed to have heard the rumors about the escape of the chibok girls but are yet to confirm them.
It will be recalled that 219 Chibok girls were abducted by Boko Haram in 2014. Which was the basis of the #Bringbackyourgirls trend.

Since then, 107 girls have been released through negotiations. While 112 remained in captivity.
