If you are a regular Twitter user, there is a good chance that you caught the battle between Gen Z and Millennials/Gen Y.
If you missed if you’re struggling to understand, I’ll break it down for you.
Millennials/ Gen Y
Generation Y or Millennials come after Generation X and just before Generation Z. Millennials were born between 1981 and 1995.
This generation succeeded the millennials and preceded the Alpha Generation. Zommers were born between 1995 and 2015.
Just for clarity:
Baby Boomers: Born between 1946 and 1964
Gen X: Born between 1965 and 1980
Gen Y or Millenials: Born between 1981 and 1995
Generation Z: Born between 1995 and 2015
Gen Alpha: Born after 2015
The Battle banter started when Zikoko published an article about Generation Z’s opinions on Millennials. Millennials disagreed and decided to set things straight.
Millennials were represented by people such as Singer Simi, FK Abudu, and Mochevious.
