Several Texas residents have been led stranded as a huge storm sweeping through the area has caused power outages.
Freezing temperatures in the state as resulted in the death of many homeless people, also denying people access to power and water.
A video recently surfaced online that showed people of the southern state lining up to fetch water from the borehole.

The video went viral as it is not characteristic of that area.
The State’s energy Grid has been overwhelmed by the surge in demand for electricity as people try to keep warm.

Texas is experiencing one of its coldest temperatures in more than 30 years, with the weather hitting 0F this week.
The head of the State’s Commission on Environmental Quality, Toby Baker announced that 260,000 people are affected by issues with the water system in the state.
He urged people to minimize the use of water as power will not be restored for the next couple of days.
Texas is one of the less cold states in the US with an average temperature of over 50 F in February.
