Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has revealed plans to carry out a peaceful protest on the road against anti-gay law in Nigeria.

The self-acclaimed Gayman disclosed this in a post on his official Instagram page.

According to the actor, coming out as Gay is the best decision he has made in his life, even though it made him lose many endorsement deals.

He also explained that since coming out, he has lost many friends and movie roles.

He went on to call others in the LGBTQ community to join him in a peaceful road protest tagged #EndAntiGayLawNaija

The actor has always been controversial, even stepping it up in recent times. He slammed President Muhammadu Buhari, stating that he has done little since becoming President.

The Anti-gay criminal code was signed into law in 2013 by then-president Goodluck Ebele Johnathan.

The law crackdown on gay marriages and people who break it are liable to be sentenced to 14 years in prison.
