Super TV CEO: See the Judges Decision About Chidinma Ojukwu

  • 21-year-old Chidinma Ojukwu the major suspect in the death of Super TV CEO Usifo Ataga made her first appearance in court today
  • 300-level Mass Communication student was arranged in Yaba Magistrate Court in Lagos State along with two other suspects
  • The Magistrate in charge, Mrs Adeola Adedayo ordered that Chidinma be remanded for 30 days, pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP)

The prime suspect in the murder of Super TV CEO Usifo Ataga, Chdinma Ojukwu has been arraigned at the Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State.

Miss Ojukwu appeared before Magistrate Adeola Adedayo on Monday along with two other suspects.

It will be remembered that Usifo was found dead in a short let apartment on June 16 with multiple stab wounds.

Ojukwu was arrested in connection to the murder 7 days after and she confessed to stabbing Usifo with a knife while being under the influence of drugs.

She also claimed that she withdraw N380,000 from the victim’s account with his account.

In a video that later surfaced on social media, Chidinma Ojukwu withdrew her statement, absolving herself of the murder.

Usifo Ataga was eventually buried in July in a ceremony where friends and family were in attendance.

Magistrate Adeola Adedayo ordered that miss Ojukwu be remanded in prison pending the time she receives legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP.
