Three of the inmates who had fled in the jailbreak of two prisons in Edo State after the #ENDSARS protests in Benin turned violent have been rearrested for robbery, according to the police.
The Edo State Police Command paraded 34 suspects for different crimes ranging from armed robbery, kidnapping and cultism with the escapee: Osamuyi Omoregbe, Raymond Aimua and Omon Ayo among them.

The Edo state police command disclosed that following the attack on prisons by hoodlums during the #ENDSARS protest, the three inmates had escaped from the two correctional centres in Benin, the Edo state capital.
Johnson Kokumon, the state commissioner of police assured that the escapees would be charged for eluding detention and then fresh charges would be brought against them for robbery.
