It seems Wizkid, fondly called StarBoy is ready to mend fences with Davido aka OBO. The duo has been at each other’s neck in the past couple of weeks. In their early messy fight which was more like a supremacy battle, Davido and Wizkid, who were in May listed on Forbes Africa ten richest musicians, were locked up in a fight after Davido shared a post on Snapchat on Saturday, 17 June, 2017, after the release of Wizkid’s single, ‘Sounds from the other side’. Wizkid’s tweet says Davido should leave him in his own little world and everything will be okay. Is Davido ready to end the fuss between them? It seems StarBoy has given up. Lol.

Supremacy Battle: It is no longer news that Davido failed at breaking into the international market and relocated home in January, while Wizzy continued to dominate international airwaves.
Wizkid purportedly told Davido in a tweet to stay local if he can’t make it on the international scene but in another twist, Davido shared a video from a party in Cannes, France and captioned it:” Local Champion. I love it! Congrats to the beautiful couple. The Groom is Nigerian Right! Wankolo No dey game!”

Following next was Davido and Wizkid causing unrest among fans on social media after the Star Boy lambasted Davido when popular soccer star, Ronaldo followed him on Twitter. Wizkid, via his handle @wizkidayo, tweeted: “The future you see is better than the footballer you don’t see.” In his response, Davido @davidoofficial tweeted: “The footballer that follows you and you don’t see, is better than the Drake that never came closer.”

Another war between the duo started after Olamide released a new jam titled, ‘Summer Boy’ which featured Davido, and the latter in what looks like a direct shade to Wizkid was quoted saying: “With our Yankee passport/Dem say we local/You better catch up/I go see you later…”

Wizkid, immediately fired back. On his Twitter handle @wizkidayo, Wizkid dropped a series of tweets: “My people make una remember say Yankee passport no be baba blue, e no dey cure frog voice. ” ..and Davido, has refused to make any further comment.
