Ever since Harrysong left Five star music to form his record label, Alterplate Music, business apparently have not been the same with Kcee and his management as Harrysong was the voice of Five star Music. In another light, Harrysong’s record label seem to be doing pretty well and this could be the bone of contention. The war between the duo of Kcee and Harrysong seems to grow worse daily. When I won Starquest in 2002, Harrysong was a villager – Kcee.
Recall that KCee had been involved in a contractual face-off with Harrysong, who left Five Star. At some point, they took the ‘beef’ to another level when Harrysong was arrested and the information surrounding the arrest had been sketchy till date but according to reports, it was revealed that Harrysong was picked up at his home by some Mobile Police men. And he had been held on counts relating to breach of contract, fraud among other issues at the Onikan command zone of the state police command.

Well, in his new rant, Kcee was on the TakeOver show with Moet Abebe and he didn’t mince words as he spoke on a sundry of issues including falling-out-and-back-again relationship with Harrysong as well as plans to release an album in two months but what has become a trending issue on social media has been his response to the question of Harrysong’s claim that he wrote all the songs at Five Star Music. But according to Kcee, Wizkid wrote the hook for ‘Pull Over’ and Harrysong didn’t contribute. He also confirmed that Harrysong has left Five Star.
In a bid to make his point, he mentioned that when he won the StarQuest competition in 2002 Harrysong was still in the village and looking at this without sentiments – it is valid. Now, this is so epic!
But the fans didn’t take it well and lashed at the Five Star Music honcho, see responses below:
