Music star, Asa’s forthcoming music concert in Lagos is beginning to spark up controversies. Tickets to Asa Encore concert in Lagos goes for N2.5 million.
For only the second time in her career, Asa is hosting a concert in Lagos.
To attend the concert, there are different payment categories.
For Table [10 Seats], fans or attendees are expected to pay the whooping sum of N2.5 million.
Standard category is N10, 000, while VIP is N30, 000.
But the price list has caused a stir and some Nigerians think it is impossible for them to pay N2.5 million just for a table for 10.
Asa titled the concert ‘Asa Encore’.
Some persons are of the thought that Asa is rubbing it in that it’s not her idea to have a concert.
It’s like sending a signal across as though ‘we’ begged her to bless us with her gift. Lol.

“Who is she to charge that much for just a couple of hours, is she Beyonce?
“Ten years ago when she started wailing about broken hearts (‘Bibanke’) and sharing the story of her nephew’s bastard child (‘Awe’), all we’ve done is support her.
“Not like we had a choice though, she’s nothing like we’re used to.
“After that eponymous album in 2007, we kept begging ‘Asa sing another one for us na.’
“She refused and was busy touring all over Europe, ‘balling’ with people with more sophisticated ‘levels’.
“Asa waited three full years before she released Beautiful Imperfection.
“And then waited a full world cup-cycle till she released Bed Of Stone in 2014. Still, no Lagos headline concert,” the fan told The Net.
In my candid opinion, the N2.5m per table she’s charging for her show, isn’t it excessive?
Obviously, Asa Encore is not for everybody and neither are the different ticket prices.
If there’s anyone who does not enjoy her music, please stay at home and do you. Hahaha.
However for true Asa fans, none of us should pay N2.5m to attend Asa Encore.
There’s no shame in saying it’s probably beyond what we can afford.
The France-based Nigerian singer will be performing with a 30-piece orchestra.
But seriously, if you have that kinda money to spare, why not? Please see the IV and do attend.
