Gifty, the most controversial former Big Brother Naija housemate has opened up on her relationship with former housemate, Soma. While the Reality TV Show was on, Gifty ‘had a thing’ with Soma, as though they were an item but several times, she debunked claims they were in a relationship. Besides, she flirted with almost all the males in the house before she was evicted. Soma was an easy target, I don’t pick his calls anymore.
The controversial housemate is known by many for her slutty way of life as she has practically made up with most of the guys in the BBNaija house. Meanwhile, she was one of the most ‘friendly’ contestants in the house.
She got married to her husband, a movie director, Sorochukwu Akumah got married in 2014. After denying her marital status countless times, Gifty finally gave in, saying she left her marriage due to domestic violence.

For whatever reasons, the light-skinned lady says her flirting with Soma was part of playing the game. In her latest interview with Broadway TV, she said, “Soma was an easy target. It’s just like you know, when you see something that you can’t resist, you just need to capture that and never let go. I would say that I was so special that he could not resist. Although apart from the strategy, Soma is a very nice person, I would admit.
“Oh, I had nothing to do with Soma. Whatever we had in the house were just game plans and all that and now that we are out of the house, I don’t have anything to do with Soma seriously. He calls me but I don’t pick up but you know, a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do. I am a busy woman, I am a businesswoman, I have no time for that.
“So, life goes on,” she jested.

Gifty is an actress and model. The Anambra-born has acted and featured in a few Nollywood monster hits. At 24, Gifty gained public attention when she appeared on the just concluded Big Brother Naija Reality TV Show which held in South Africa.
