The ‘Mama Africa’ crooner, who no undoubtedly shares a striking resemblance with the award winning pop star, says sharing physical cum characteristic attributes with the ‘African Queen’ crooner has been of immense benefits to his budding music career.

Success in any chosen career mostly depends on one’s ability to make adequate use of every opportunity that presents itself and Ikon-X, who is signed to AZ Entertainment with a couple of singles to his credit, has not slacked in that aspect.
No doubt, since his journey to the Nigerian music industry started, he has displayed his musical talent and versatility in RnB, reggae, commercial, and pop tunes, earning him a comfortable spot among his peers in the music industry.
Besides sharing physical attributes with 2face, he claims to have a number of other qualities idiosyncratic of him and boasts of how it has been of benefit to him so far.
“Sharing physical and other qualities with 2baba has brought me good things because when I go to shows some, people think I’m 2baba until I tell them I’m not him, but it makes them still want to be closer to me,” he told Vanguard in a recent chat.

In the same vein, recall that popular artiste, JoEl, who is signed to Kennis Music, had talked about sharing same resemblance with 2face.
He revealed that he never had it in mind to look like him but when he was trying to venture into music, he went to his barber and asked him to cut a style he has never done before, even though he didn’t want to do the kind of 2face cut. He said he later did it but without the mind that he wanted to look like 2face and he didn’t he looks like 2face until he saw his album art.
Furthermore, he revealed that there was a time when he was working at Mr.Biggs, a man just came to him suddenly and asked him to please have a picture with his children, thinking he was 2face. He objected but after the man insisted, he had to take the picture and the man later offered him money though he didn’t accept it.
When asked if looking like Tubaba has been a cause or a blessing, he revealed that it has been both and there was a day he cried bitterly when a guy told him he will never make it because he looks like Tubaba but the story later changed.
