Ace Nigerian rapper and Chocolate City Music boss, M.I Abaga has said a prayer for Internet fraudsters, popularly referred to as Yahoo boys. Shout-out to Yahoo boys, may God prosper your business – M.I Abaga.

The Jos-born rap superstar, in a recent interview with Pulse, talked about the aspect of financing in the Nigerian music business and surprisingly, the rapper had good words to say about internet fraudsters.

In this interview, he further spoke about diverse issues affecting the Nigerian music industry and he talked about the direction of his music.

Here’s what M.I said, “There’s no bank in the history of Nigeria that has given one Naira to any label and there’s one corporate entity that has given any label. It’s young guys.

In fact, you’re more likely to get money from a Yahoo boy.  Shout-out to Yahoo boys. May God prosper your business,” he quipped.

Lol. This really came with a shock. It seems M.I would soon join the league of controversial Nigerian artistes.

Recently, the rapper openly shared his views about sexuality and the Gay law in Nigeria which he described as ‘stupid’. MI was of the opinion that the lawmakers were being biased.

He said, “I feel like I have a few friends with different sexual orientations and I think its stupid that we have that law in Nigeria but now that we do, until the law is repealed, I feel it’s not safe to openly disclose your sexuality.”
