The high spate of domestic violence currently rocking marriages in Nigeria will not be exaggerated if tagged ‘alarming’. Peter Okoye of the Psquare fame has always spoken up against domestic violence in recent times. He shocked or rather, thrilled his fans on Instagram yesterday after he posted a photo of his daughter all kitted up for martial arts training. On his IG page @peterpsquar Peter tagged the photo “Oya let me start training my own for all those women beaters. #Aliona, #saynotodomesticviolence, #lolaomotayo_okoye.”

That’s the trend in Nigeria ooo, fathers teaching their children some martial arts skills, enrolling them for training so as to prepare them for the future against bully boyfriends or husbands, should they end up with such. Peter has joined the trend.

Recall that recently, Peter, on his Instagram page shared a photo of him wearing a Tshirt branded ‘Stop Domestic Violence’ and this engaged his followers in some sort of arguments. He tagged the photos: “But seriously some MEN can fall hand. Next time if u want to beat or hit a Woman. Pls try beating me @peterpsquare @anthony_joshua or @floydmayweather then you will be called a reeeeeeeeaal MAN!
