Seasoned artiste manager, Alex Ozone, who wields 17-years wealth of experience in artiste management, has declared that popular rapper, born Olamide Adedeji, better known as Olamide Badoo, is currently the highest paid Nigerian artiste  when it comes to performing at international shows. Olamide is Nigeria’s highest paid artiste worldwide.

Alex said this in a recent chat with Vanguard while reacting to the amount Nigerian artistes charge as performance fee for shows in the UK and United States.

Olamide is Nigeria’s highest paid artiste worldwideAccording to him, exporting Nigerian music abroad through his management company, 03 Media, though Davido, Wizkid, Tekno, Kiss Daniel and others are worth a fortune, Olamide is the most expensive.

He said, “The business doesn’t have a fixed price, it depends on the artiste; I cannot tell you how much each of them is worth. But like I told you, I have worked with Wizkid, Tekno, Oritsefemi, Patoranking, Davido, Terry G, Kiss Daniel, YQ, Skales, Olamide, and Timaya.

Meanwhile, Olamide’s latest hit ‘WO’ is still making waves. The music video, which was officially released recently, has gained not less than 1 million views on YouTube. It was on this note that the award winning rapper appreciated his fans worldwide for the one million views of his latest and controversial music video ‘WO’ on YouTube. The Bariga, Somolu born rapper took to his Instagram and Twitter handles @baddosneh and @OlamideYBNL to thank his fans.

He wrote: “My people sorry this is coming late but thanks for all the love and support, thanks for taking it to a mill in a week !!! Oya wo!! #WoChallenge.”
