It was a show of excitement recently as popular music star, Davido, aka Omo Baba Olowo, OBO, arrived in Nigeria. Davido had been up and about his ’30 billion’ world tour in the last one month. The HKN Gang boss, Davido and his crew arrived Ukraine for the much publicized 30 Billion Tour. He arrived at Kyiv, Ukraine as the first stop of his world tour. The father of two was pictured on an Adidas Tracksuit and Gucci Flops when his crew arrived his first location to kick-start his tour. MOPOL fires gunshots to announce Davido’s arrival in Lagos.
On July 7th, the pop star shut down the stage in Frankfurt, Germany when he performed at Willy-Brandt-Halle. There he excited his fans with ‘If‘, his latest single ‘Fall‘ and some of his other hits.

MOPOL fires gunshots to announce Davido’s arrival in Lagos
Upon his arrival to Nigeria to take a break from his obvious successful tour, it seemed like the mobile policemen (MOPOL) attached to the ‘IF’ crooner, got the memo and in the excitement of ferrying Davido from Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, they let off some gunshots from his Mercedes Benz sports utility vehicle.
You may want to wonder gunshot salutes are usually reserved for fallen soldiers, visiting heads of states or parties in Saudi Arabia. Well not if your name is Davido and you gat such huge billions in your account. Lol. The intention of the shots are not known at this time, but it seems Davido was in a jubilant mood as he returned to the country for a break from his worldwide tour.
In his high spirits, he showered fans at the airport with fistfuls of dollars, and the plan worked like a charm as the crowd that converged on him, swarmed as soon as they sighted the dollars hitting the floor. The mobile policemen at the urging of one of Davido’s lackeys showed off the AK-47 hollow tipped bullet, for the consumption of social media followers who may get the wrong idea. Only recently it was reported that a fan tried to snatch the flamboyant artist’s bling bling.
Davido then proceeded from the airport to his Lekki mansion, sirens blaring and weaving through traffic.

Meanwhile, Davido’s song, ‘If’ has been nominated for the 2017 Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA) in the Best Single category. The award ceremony will be held on September 3, 2017, in New York City.
