Nigerian singer, Ekenedilichukwu Ijemba, popularly known by his stage name, Humblesmith says he intends to break Michael Jackson’s world record. The ‘Osinachi’ crooner opened up on his aspirations in a chat with Broadway TV. I may sound crazy but I want to break Michael Jackson’s record – Humblesmith vows.

He said, “I want to break Michael Jackson’s record. It sounds funny, it sounds crazy, it sounds as if this boy dey mad oh, he don dey craze. But it’s all about belief you know. When I was young, watching Michael Jackson back then, he was more like a god, people worshipped Michael Jackson. I’m not saying that people should worship me oh but you see that standard; that is what I want to break. So my future is very bright, very huge,” he added.

I may sound crazy but I want to break Michael Jackson’s record - Humblesmith vowsIn the same interview, Naija.fm had earlier reported that the singer revealed that he was a virgin before he left his hometown, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State for Lagos State. But then, his virginity disappeared after he got to Lagos, claiming that girls in Lagos are way too exposed.

He also added that he’s got few romantic propositions from men. HumbleSmith said, “Yes but personally, I’m a straightforward person, I’m not gay. I’ve had that before but I had to turn the person down respectfully because I don’t disrespect anybody. Your sexual life is ‘On Your Own’, personally, I dey come straight.”

Asked if Abakaliki girls were better than Lagos girls, he continued, “I don die. Funny enough, I don’t understand this question because while we were growing up, there were so many beautiful girls around you know…
