Popular Nigerian singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, Harrison Tare Okiri better known by his stage name Harrysong, has responded to fans who slammed him for using stolen babies to celebrate the arrival of his twins. This comes after his Abuja-based businesswoman lover put to birth a set of twins (boy and girl) in the United States. The baby boy was christened, “PEREZ” meaning wealth in Ijaw language, the girl’s name was adapted from Harrysong’s own name (Tare) and was called “TARELA”, which means love. The Alterplate boss posted a picture supposedly of his twin children who were not his and Nigerians came for him. But in an interview he granted, he disclosed what really happened and why he used the photos.

According to Harrysong, he has not yet seen his new kids and the photos he has are the ones their mum sent.

‘I’ve not seen the kids, I’ve been very very busy. They are not around yet, I just saw pictures, their mother has been sending me pictures and it’s been amazing.”
With his revelation, some fans are still asking questions like ‘is he in good terms with his babymama?’

Going by the pictures he shared, recall that some of his fans had urged him to have a paternity test following the birth of his twin babies as there is hardly any resemblance between him and the babies.

Some say the babies look ‘mixed’ meanwhile, his girlfriend cum babymama is a full blooded Nigerian. So obviously, we are yet to see his real babies as the pictures he shared are not those of his twins.
