Mad Over you is a song that is really making mad waves right now. A lot of people dance and groove to this song but not many people know how it came about.
As at the time this song was written, Runtown was going through a lot, hence the depth of the song. He shared this detail with an interview he had Pulse NG.
Contrary to what people might think, it didn’t take too long for that song to be produced. According to Del B (Producer) the song had a lot of vibes to it and there was this chemistry and connection that made the whole process easy.
Though he was going through some emotional stuff last year, he kind of channeled all the energy into work. And that was how ‘Mad Over You’ was birthday.
The beat was a combination of work from RunTown, Del B and T Spice.
This song was done for the ladies and I must say that it worked.
The models featured in the video are not vixens, they are actual models who usually don’t do videos. Oboi mehn, those girls are hot like that.
Runtown refused to say the meaning of wine for dodo, said he wants to use it for something and will reveal the meaning in time. “That might just be the juju for the song” he teased.
I almost didn’t believe it when he said he doesn’t listen to Afrobeats artistes. That sounds strange though.
