
Singer 9ice, has said he didn’t promise his fans a Grammy Award, but himself, stating that he was only ‘thinking aloud.”’ The MOBO award winning singer, born Alexander Abolore Adigun made this known while speaking with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin Minds. 9ice says ‘I didn’t promise anyone Grammy.
He said, “I didn’t promise you, I’m promising myself what I want for my life, I’m talking about my story. I’m saying it to myself. I saying that stuff aloud, speaking aloud.”

Also the ‘Gongo Aso’ crooner spoke on his new style of music, stating that Nigerians are no more interested in lyrics but beats, rhythm and melody. He also clarified certain terms used in his latest hit “Living things” which cause controversies on the internet, adding that rapper Falz was not referring to him when he said some artistes were praising scammers and fraudsters.
Recall that the singer had described how President Muhammadu Buhari gives him hope of still winning the Grammy Awards. 9ice, who some years back claimed he has his eyes set on winning Grammy Awards revealed that he is yet to back down on the dream as Buhari and several others have given him the inspiration to continue in line with his dream.

He renewed his commitment to winning the Grammy awards, further noting that he has no beef or fighting with Olamide. In an interview with Punch, the ‘Alakpomeji’ crooner, on his plans to bring home the Grammy as stated in his Street Credibility track, said:
“I am still working on bringing the Grammy to Nigeria. Abraham Lincoln tried several times before he became the president of the US while Buhari tried about four times before he became president. As long as I am still doing music, I can still get the Grammy…” he said. Read up full gist HERE.
