Metaverse Digital Assistant Set to be Unveiled by Facebook-Owner Meta

Since Facebook’s parent company rebranded to Meta, the tech giant has been committed to developing a fully-functional virtual world in the metaverse. Even though how the metaverse will be implemented remains unknown, many top brands have jumped on board establishing offices in the metaverse and creating digital products.

Now, Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has disclosed that the company is working on an artificial intelligence bot that will improve communication between voice assistants and translate between languages.

The metaverse  digital assistant being developed by Meta will allow users to describe a world and generate aspects of it. While speaking at the company’s live-streamed event, the tech billionaire played a prerecorded demo that showcased the AI concept named- Builder Bot.

In the demo, he appeared as a legless #D avatar on an island and he gave voice commands to create a beach, cloud, and trees. The Facebook boss also stated that people will be able to create “nuanced worlds to explore” as the technology advances.

In addition to that, Zuckerberg also disclosed that Meta was working on a universal speech translator that will provide speech-to-speech translation across all languages.
