France President Emmanuel Macron should know this after he was slapped by a man during a walkabout in France.

The President went on a visit to Southeast France and was greeting a crowd behind a barrier when the incident occurred.

Officers had to swoop in quickly to save the president but he didn’t stop him from receiving a slap on his face.

While slapping Macron, the slapper yelled “Down with Macronism”.

Dazed at that moment, the French president relaxed briefly before moving to greet the crowd again.

The police have arrested two men for the incident and there are currently being interrogated.

Various politicians in France have condemned the incident, urging people to separate violence from democracy.

It is worth noting that Emmanuel Macron had 10 members of the Security Group for the Presidency with him during the incident.
