
Nollywood actress Funke Akindele’s movie Omo Ghetto (The Saga) is set to premier in Dubai
The launch of the movie in the UAE would mark a milestone as the first Nollywood content to be released in Asia.
The movie is a sequel of Funke’s previous Omo Ghetto whose debuted made a lot of wave few years ago.
Nollywood actress Funke Akindele’s latest movie, Omo Ghetto (The Saga) is set to launch in the United Arab Emirate, thereby making it the only Nigerian movie to be released in cinema across Arab Asia. The 43-years-old actress made the disclosure via Instagram on Monday. According to her, the movie would be available for view in Dubai cinemas starting from January 21 The movie based on the societal vice of an all-female gang was locally released in December 25, 2020 and was directed by Funke Akindele and her husband JJC Skills whose real name is Abdulrasheed Bello Meanwhile, we reported earlier that the Nigerian government has directed all telecommunication operators to deregister all SIM cards that are not synchronized with the National Identity Number (NIN) by December 30th 2020.
