Protesters hit streets in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Monday, demanding the unconditional release of detained protesters as well as unfreezing of their accounts by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The protest which started off at the Ogo-Oluwa area of the capital moved to the Osun State House of Assembly and then the State Secretariat, Abere in Oshogno
Some of the placards read: ”End Fake Judiciary Panel of Inquiry in Osun” ”Unfreez all the frozen accounts” ”End bad Judiciary in Nigeria” “We are not fighting for any political party”, among others.
Meanwhile, we also reported that A yet-to-be identified woman has left her baby behind in a commercial vehicle in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
