
The government of Kaduna State have announced that all schools, including public and private would remain closed due to the second wave if COVID-19
The second wave of COVID-19 have forced governments to reintroduced lockdown measures in the last quarter of 2020.
The government through the Education Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, revealed that the closure of schools is till further notice
The Kaduna State Government has disclosed that all public and private schools operating in the state would remain closed till further notice.
Mrs Phoebe Yayi, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, revealed this in a press statement on Monday, January 18.
Mrs Yayi while making it clear that no definite date has been considered for the reopening of public and private schools in the state, the decision became as owing to the increasing number of COVID-19 test that returned positive In the state.
Meanwhile, we reported earlier that the Nigerian government has directed all telecommunication operators to deregister all SIM cards that are not synchronized with the National Identity Number (NIN) by December 30th 2020.
