
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria have disclosed that they had no agreement with the Ondo State Government for herdsmen leave the state forest reserve.
Gov Akeredoku had given an order for the immediate expulsion of herdsmen from the state forest reserve.
Owing to the rise in kidnapping, the government started putting in measures to curb it including regulating herdsmen activities.
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria has disclosed to newsmen that the organization had no agreement to leave the stare forest reserve.
Baba Usma, the National Secretary said what they agreed upon during the last meeting with the government of Ondo State was to quit night grazing as well as the use of use of underage boys to graze.
Reacting to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s statewide broadcast, where amongst other new developments he ordered that all herdsmen vacate the stare forest reserve within seven days, Mr Usman however insist there was no deal to get herdsmen out of the state.

He further stated the joint agreement they had with the state government was to stop allowing minors to graze cows as well as to stop night grazing, stressing that there was no plan to vacate herdsmen from the state.
