A BTC wallet containing over 791 BTC ($32,500 in today’s market) was activated after almost 10 years of being dormant.
Whale Alert, a blockchain tracker that reveals significant Bitcoin transfers disclosed this on Twitter.
According to Whale Alert, 640 BTC worth $20.8 million was withdrawn from the wallet.
This is one of the oldest dormant wallets, having been left untouched since 14 months after the invention of Bitcoin.
This is not the first time that such a dormant account has been brought to life.

Back in March, Whale Alert reported that 5000 BTC was transferred from a dormant account that was inactive for 7 years.
A similar alert was reported in February when 2189 BTC was transferred from a long inactive wallet.
The recent withdrawal has raised eyebrows in the crypto community because it means that early adopters of BTC might be trading their assets for cash.
