The billionaire made a tweet earlier today about Dogecoin that caused the price of the coin to go up.
In the morning of April 1st, the Engineer tweeted that his space company, SpaceX was going to put “literal dogecoin” on the moon.
This is quite ironic, given the fact that cryptocurrencies are completely virtual.
Was this just an April Fool’s joke for his followers or does Musk have another agenda?
The statement definitely shouldn’t be taken literally. The SpaceX CEO probably just means that the coin is going to get so high in value.
Musk has shown his love for Dogecoin several times through tweets and memes posted on social media.
