A day after signing up Brazil’s Palmeiras as a part of their fan token universe, Socios have disclosed that Crystal Palace is the latest club to sign up for their fan token.
Crystal Palace become the 6th English team to sign up on the blockchain-based fan engagement platform after Arsenal, Aston Villa, Everton, Manchester City, and Leeds United.
The club will now release the $CPFC Fan Token for £2, with the launch date set to be announced soon.
The fan tokens will give the holders the right to vote in fan-focused polls regarding the club as well as the opportunity to compete in club-related games and quizzes.
The fan tokens are also tradable and unlock access to benefits such as club merchandise and real-life experiences.

Crystal Palace will offer existing ticket holders and members of the club the opportunity to redeem the token for free.
More football clubs are embracing cryptocurrency through the use of fan tokens. Socios has revealed that 1.3 million fans from 167 countries are already using fan tokens on the Socios.com app.
