The world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, Ethereum has surged to a new all-time high today.
Ether which was trading at $2906 yesterday, rose as high as $3,196 in 24 hours.
ETH’s increase has been driven by fresh buying after European Investment Bank announced intentions to launch its digital bond on the Ethereum network.
Flagship coin, Bitcoin has also followed the movement of Ethereum and breached the 58,000 resistance.
Analysts are now backing the cryptocurrency to retest its all-time high of $64,000.
BTC has recovered strongly after falling as low as $47,000 a few weeks ago.
